My name is Terry Buettner and I will occasionally be a guest author on blogs dealing with crops and cropping systems.
I graduated from University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1983 with a B.A. in Business Administration/ Marketing emphasis. I then went home to the family farm where I was involved with our row crop and cow-calf operation. After my father’s retirement in 1999, I was the owner operator of an 1800 acre corn, soybean, alfalfa operation as well as Platte Valley Simmentals, a purebred seedstock enterprise as well as TDB Ag Services, a ag chemical and custom application business. I also was a Sales Agent for Producers Hybrids and Garst Seed Co since 1983. In 2016, I decided to change careers and took a position as a sales and support agronomist with Ward Laboratories, INC. In this job I am able to use my agronomic background as well as my sales experience to assist our customers.
My wife Jacki and I still live on the farm and have two grown children and one new baby grandson!
